MEDIA CIRCUS- Radio 1 Scott Mills "One big, young band coming out". I agree. Simple sound but with character. Mix of Oasis and younger rocky stuff , and certainly good music to listen to whilst having a shower and prepping for a big nite out.

JUST FUZZ- Mad for it Britrock mothers embracing Embrace, Oasis, Stone Roses.... And their 'Working week' is a really neat song and they seem to have a bit of a buzz do fuzz.

TONE RODENT- From St Louis Missouri USA...Open up with some dark moody croon led stuff with horror film keys and sloppy Pavement like guitars/feel. Influenced by Spacemen 3, Velvets, MBV...Dark psych with a yearning drugged out feel.

THE GREAT FURY- From Manchester…an acoustic ropey take on the Arctic Monkeys perhaps… very similar vox and lyrics…bits of Oasis and Jamie T may be discened in this fine work too.

Spiritualized NEW ALBUM!

Spiritualized's sixth studio album Songs In A & E is finally set for release this May.

The twelve track album is interspersed with six 'Harmony' tracks and features several tracks that Jason Pierce previewed at his 'Acoustic Mainline' shows late last year including 'Sitting On Fire', 'Baby I'm Just A Fool' and 'Goodnight, Goodnight'.

The album is set for release through Sanctuary Records on May 19.

Spiritualized are playing some festivals this year, confirmed so far are Coachella and Benicassim.

Pierce has also scored the music for Harmony Korine's forthcoming movie 'Mister Lonely' about a poor Michael Jackson lookalike living in Paris.

Yes, It's True!

Tone Rodent will be making their first UK appearence on the 24th of March, 2008 at The Hope and Anchor in Islington, North London. It will actually be a "solo" gig with Adam Rodent. Adam will be taking to the stage with some very special guests(fingers crossed: an announcement will be made shortly) also appearing on the night are The Great Fury, Just Fuzz and Media Circus. The songs of Tone Rodent take on a more fragile and haunting space when performed solo. The dirt, drone and dirge are still there mixed with a sparse and spacey haze. Shoegazer Alive says, Think a stripped down Jesus and Mary Chain mixed with Spacemen 3.
